Adient plc is a global manufacturer of automotive seating, producing complete seat systems and components such as structures, mechanisms, foam, and trim for major automakers. The company was formed in October 2016 as a spinoff from Johnson Controls International and trades on the NYSE under the ticker ADNT. It operates roughly 200 manufacturing and assembly plants across 29 countries.
