SPX Technologies, Inc. is a publicly traded industrial manufacturer headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, trading on the NYSE under ticker SPXC. It makes highly engineered products across two segments, HVAC (air movement, cooling, electric heating and hydronics equipment) and detection and measurement (underground utility locating, inspection technology, fare collection systems and communications equipment). The company traces its roots to 1911 and spun off its former process/flow-control business as the separate public company SPX FLOW in 2015.
