Fair Isaac Corporation, known as FICO, is a publicly traded analytics software company that builds predictive analytics and decision management tools used by banks, lenders, insurers, and other businesses. It is best known for the FICO Score, the credit risk model used by most major US lenders to evaluate consumer creditworthiness. The company was founded in 1956 and trades on the NYSE under the ticker FICO.
