Serve Robotics designs and operates autonomous, AI-powered sidewalk delivery robots that use cameras, lidar, and onboard software to navigate public sidewalks and deliver food and small goods. The company started in 2017 as a robotics division inside Postmates and became an independent company in 2021 after Uber acquired Postmates. It trades publicly on Nasdaq under the ticker SERV and runs robot fleets for delivery partners such as Uber Eats and 7-Eleven in several U.S. cities, including Los Angeles.
