NXP Semiconductors N.V. is a Dutch semiconductor manufacturer that designs and produces integrated circuits, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and wireless connectivity solutions. Its chips are used in automotive, industrial, IoT, mobile, and communications infrastructure applications, with customers including Apple, Dell, Ericsson, and Samsung. The company was spun off from Philips in 2006 and trades on Nasdaq under the ticker NXPI.
