Itron is an American technology company headquartered in Liberty Lake, Washington that designs smart meters, communications networks, and software for managing electricity, gas, and water use. It sells advanced metering infrastructure, grid edge intelligence, and data analytics products to utilities and cities in more than 100 countries. Itron was founded in 1977 and trades publicly on Nasdaq under the ticker ITRI.
