Ingevity Corporation is a specialty chemicals and materials company that manufactures activated carbon products, specialty chemicals and engineered polymers. Its segments include Performance Materials (activated carbon for vehicle emissions control and filtration), Performance Chemicals (pavement technologies and industrial specialties), and Advanced Polymer Technologies. The company was spun off from WestRock as an independent public company in 2016 and is headquartered in North Charleston, South Carolina.
