Fortum

Fortum is a Nordic energy company headquartered in Espoo, Finland that generates and sells electricity and heat, operating power plants including nuclear, hydro, and combined heat and power facilities. It also provides energy trading, heating and cooling solutions, and nuclear services to consumer and industrial customers across the Nordics and other European markets. The company was formed in 1998 through the merger of Imatran Voima and Neste Oy and is listed on Nasdaq Helsinki, with the Finnish state as majority shareholder.
